Prof. Dr.-Ing. Armin Lohrengel

Career

Professor Armin Lohrengel studied mechanical engineering at Clausthal Technical University and RWTH Aachen University. From 1995, he was a research assistant at the Chair of Machine Elements and Machine Design at RWTH Aachen University (Professor Gold) and completed his doctorate in 2001 on the service life-oriented dimensioning of sprag roller clutches. From 1999, Mr. Lohrengel worked as head of machine development at Paul Hartmann AG in Heidenheim. In 2007, he was appointed Professor of Machine Elements and Design Engineering and is Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics/Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.
